Safety routines
A parent in every lesson
A parent sits in on every private lesson, and group class is watched from the side.
Doors stay open
Every lesson room has a window in its door, or the door stays open.
Who may collect a student
We hand a student only to the grown-ups on your pickup list, and we ask for ID from anyone we do not know.
When a student is ill
A student with a fever stays home. Tell us by text or a call and we will let your teacher know.

Family policies
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
A student with a fever or a cough stays home and comes back when they feel well. Tell us by text or a call as early as you can, so your teacher knows not to wait.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close for a week at Thanksgiving, for two weeks around the new year and for July and August. If weather closes the roads, we decide by noon and text every family.
Drop-off and pickup
We hand a student only to the grown-ups on your pickup list, and we ask for ID from anyone we do not know. Parents wait in the room or on the bench in the hall.
Watching class and recitals
A parent sits in on every private lesson, and watches group class from the side. At concerts, listeners come in quietly, put phones on silent and clap when a piece ends.
Leaving the program
We ask for a month's written notice, leaving at the end of a term, by email or at the front desk, so we can offer the time to someone waiting.
What to wear and bring
Wear what lets your arms and shoulders move. For a concert, a clean shirt and good shoes are plenty. Nobody needs concert dress.
Screens and phones
Phones go on silent in the lesson room, and we ask families not to film a teacher or another student without asking. A tablet is fine when your teacher asks for one.
Questions about how we work?
